This really shouldn't be labelled as a prequel to Alien. I like a few of the nods like the face-hugger. The alien baby impregnation operation was a highlight and made me chuckle. I am intrigued by the beings and they should have their own separate movie on a much better level than this.
I found it really rather disjointed overall. Shame.
