So before anything, just please listen to this advice. Regardless of what anyone says, even including the director himself, just take this film as a prequel and you will have a much better time.

For all the negative reviews out there, a major complaint is "how is this connected?"Hearing this before actually seeing it, really concerned me and I was prepared for the worst. When it was over, I only had one question "how the hell was this NOT connected?".

Within the first ten mins, I saw "Alien" everywhere. From the title sequence, to the sets, aesthetics, and set up.

The biggest negative is the fact that after you watch the movie, the plot might confuse you, even make you think what was the point? But then again why watch an R rated blockbuster if you are going to be reductive about it?
