I LOVE the premise of the movie. But the writing is lacking. Afterwards, my friend kept saying, "That movie could've been awesome." I don't blame it on the fact that we were all looking forward to it.
The main problem was that the characters were written poorly. I won't go into the other problems (editing, other story telling elements).
