Review of Prometheus (2012) by Neal H — 17 Feb 2014

Visually it blows the viewer away, but it lacks what has made both 'Alien' & 'Blade Runner' so enduring: the human heart and the emotions that come out of that. 'Alien' was a story of survival from a nightmare (both the monster on the ship and our own demons within us).

'Blade Runner' goes even further questioning realities, moral dilemmas, and the future of humanity itself. 'Prometheus' attempts to take on these questions as well, but fails in doing that leaving the audience more confused than it did walking in.
