Review of Prometheus (2012) by Brandon W — 08 Jan 2015
When I saw the trailer for Prometheus, I was very excited to see it. So even though the movie itself is not as tense or scary as the trailers were, I still like it. The acting is terrific, especially Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender.
The effects are outstanding, and it gets a bit tense once in a while. The soundtrack is beautiful to listen to, and it's interesting. The script however, doesn't spend time on all of the characters, just the majority of it.
There's also some stupid decisions, and why is Guy Pearce in this as an old man when they could've just got an old man to play the character? If there wasn't a sequel for it, having unanswered questions in it would be a big flaw for the movie.
It's not perfect, but it's a great prequel to Alien even though it's still up for debate to this day.
