Review of Prometheus (2012) by Cameron L — 18 May 2017
It's weird. It's trimmed a little too lean, leaving out stuff perhaps. I feel like stuff just happens without explanation and the audience is just expected to go along with it. Characters who are trained to be in extreme situations make dumb decisions.
It looks beautiful. The whole things just seems like the set-up for another movie, and yet... I liked it. I guess this is my equivalent of a Thomas review of something... it's flawed, but I like it, warts and all.
Complete fan-service alien slime-squish at the end, almost AVP-ish. I'm going back into hyper-sleep until the sequel comes out. This is Cameron, last surviving member of... ah fuck it, goodnight.
