Review of Prometheus (2012) by Ann P — 23 Oct 2017
Despite its great cast and fascinating "creator" myth. "Prometheus," very compelling to look at though it may be, suffers from the worst cliches that a seasoned director, like Scott, shouldn't succumb to: crews and individuals who have no clue about bringing aboard possibly alien-infected personnel without quarantine, crew who, like children, are solicitous to life forms they have no experience with, and though Fassbender is amazing in his portrayal of the android, he's another form of the "crazy" robot.
Albeit a very sophisticated one. The most annoying and disappointing issue with "Prometheus" is it doesn't answer the questions it's supposed to.
