With lackluster characters, noisy action sequences, and some of the most stupid decisions in the franchise, "Prometheus" doesn't live up to the original "Alien" as much as the style of the title would lead one to believe.
However, for die hard fans of the series as a whole or for someone simply looking for a different take on the sci-fi genre, you could do much worse than the visually appealing and occasionally frightening "Prometheus.
