Review of Prometheus (2012) by Jordan J — 19 May 2017

Prometheus is a great comeback for the Alien franchise, but it also shows that a movie can be so simple but can create a whole different story behind it. The original alien movie was pretty simple. Alien gets onto the ship, runs free and kills people.

Pretty simple right? Well since that one made money, now they have to make more of these movies so they can make much more money. Now this isn't necessarily a bad thing because some of these sequels and prequels are good.

Like Aliens, Alien covenant, and this movie, Prometheus. But it's just that the story gets so complex and grows so much that it gets a little confusing and can ruin the franchise for some fans. Like some of the story of these prequels, we could've lived without them.

But overall this is a pretty good movie. It has the gore that will make you feel sick and scared and it has good suspense. This movie has a good story and it's kinda cool to see how the franchise all began.

But like I said, the franchise would've been just fine without this movie. This is still a welcomed movie to the alien franchise. A-.
