Review of Prometheus (2012) by Jim P — 23 Dec 2014

I thought the visuals were good, the art/location designs were great. The designs for the space ship the crew traveled in was beautiful, and looked like something we could invent in the future. I wasn't impressed with the alien ship though.

Some stuff didn't make any sense and that's mostly the reason why the film didn't get 5 stars or even 4 stars from me.

Plus it had too many things that were copied from 'Alien', I know its supposed to be a prequel, but it resembled 'Alien' too much. I also didn't the android played by Michael Fassbender. I didn't find the android realistic, it can't have feelings cause its not human. The android is too similar to the android in the first 'Alien' film. It irritated me. The make up was good though.

Overall if it weren't for the visual effects, the film wouldn't have gotten 3 stars. Just too many flaws in the story.
