Review of Prometheus (2012) by Jason M — 31 Jan 2016
From the first few scenes - including the slowly building dread of the sequence before they reached the planet - I was utterly captivated by this film, and drawn into a fictional world seemingly more expansive than that of the Alien Quadrilogy.
Science fiction with religious undertones, touching on the subject of creationism crossed with evolutionary theory... Xenomorphs developed as biological weapons, the perfect killing machine... Enough riddles to set up an exciting premise for a sequel.
I was not disappointed by this movie at all.
