Review of Prom Night in Mississippi (2009) by Jackie E — 22 Oct 2009
An excellent documentary about open racism in the south. It shows all the point of views, the black and the white students that want one prom; it only makes sense because they go the same school and they hang out together.
Shows the white parents that want the separate proms (who are rednecks and they are extremely stupid). That's the problem, it's the school board and the parents choice to have it that way and they were raised up to believe that white people are better than others.
And sadly, racism will all ways exist just like war, history repeats itself, people will never learn. Morgan Freeman is a great person for doing this, I just wished he narrated the whole movie.
