If you're going to make a slasher movie, either make it suspenseful by having the killer play cat and mouse games and have the killing done kind of in the background, otherwise have it be a gore fest if you're going to kill people right off the bat.

don't have this middle ground bullshit where he does something kind of ominous, like hiding! oooh!, and then kills someone. and pg-13 strikes again. you can make a decent pg-13 slasher film, if it has a good plot and effectively uses mood and that plot to build suspense!
