I'd like to start out with a question... who goes to sleep when a crazy killer is still unaccounted for, especially when he's stalking your girlfriend.. That's bush league.
The story follows a high-school girl who had her crazy teacher kill her parents in front of her, as she attempts to put it all in the past and move on and go to her prom. The only problem is that... of course... crazy guy has escaped... and of course... the fuzz forgot to pass the message along. Que teen slasher movie.
I love teen slasher movies, I think they are endlessly entertaining, I don't think any of them are scary, but they are entertaining to watch. Clearly the script, cast, filming isn't that great, but the whole point is to watch a bunch of 26 year old's pretend to be high-schoolers and run away from a crazy murdering teacher... doesn't that just scream entertaining...
To conclude if you are looking for a quality, engaging film which teaches a lesson of life.. this probably isn't for you... if you are looking for a cliche, teen slasher movie... you've found it.
