Review of Prom (2011) by Tonilyn G — 06 May 2011
This movie was exactly what I had expected. A tween dream with an extremely followable and predictable plot and about a million different "love" connections. It's kind of like what the redone Prom Night would have been like with out the promiscuity, cursing and murders.
As long as you know that you're going to a bubbly, preteen movie you should enjoy it somewhat. My friend and I are seniors and the novelty of it drew us in right away (I'm not actually going to prom, so we went to say that "I've gone to Prom!" haha).
It was pretty okay because we knew we weren't going to see a five star film, but if we were expecting to see a more witty teen drama like Mean Girls, we would have been very dissapointed.
