After watching a bunch of summer blockbuster ie X-Men, Transformers, Capt America, Thor etc etc...its a welcome change to watch "Prom", which like the title suggest is about Prom Night, the last night before graduating high school . Its a Disney movie ( oh dont worry ..nothing like High School Musical) so it targets young adults . However the nostalgic theme can capture older folks like yours truly.

I expected a typical high school teen flick , you know - prom queen/king, jocks, lewd jokes, bad behaviour. But turms out " Prom " is a pretty charming movie. Nothing outstanding in terms of new ground covered, but its wholesome fun, touching and real.

Certainly reminds me of my school days.

So take a chance .. go watch it with that special someone. I bet you'll see a lot of yourself in it somewhere.
