Review of Project X (2012) by Spyros T — 29 Dec 2012

I don't know, maybe it's because I'm getting older and my tastes are changing but I just found this film to be utterly boring and predictable! It is essentially about 3 guys who have a party with some very predictable misfortunes along the way.

75% of the movie just involves teenagers running around with no tops on, taking drugs, drinking, vomiting and dancing. I must be missing something because other reviewers have given it glittering reviews.

There is absolutely no depth to the story or the characters for that matter. They have a party and nearly destroy their neighbourhood but it's all worth it in the end apparently because the main character becomes "popular"! Apparently, this film made 100 millions and a sequel was announced.
