Review of Project X (2012) by Celeste N — 13 Oct 2013
This comedy, rumored to be based on an Austrailian teen who promoted a house party and incited a riot was a very pleasant surprise. It could pretty much serve as a prequel to The Hangover, although the characters aren't as imaginative. Oliver Cooper as Costa is the lone exception. He is hilarious as the teen douchebag friend from New York.
The movie follows the formula of the first Hangover, where an innocent party progressively gets worse until it's unbelievable. I was in stitches for most of this movie.
If your a fan of the Hangover or any movie like it, I would buy this movie.
