Review of Project X (2012) by Bill B — 16 Jan 2015

Watched out of utter boredom in a hotel room, this film was mildly entertaining, but overall the leads had nothing about them that particularly made me root for them, and after the mayhem that they caused, there was no indication that any of them paid any sort of price for their irresponsible behavior. Thus, I was lost between the idea of wanting to enjoy the escapism of the comedy vs. the way the film is presented, which is like found footage of a real party, firmly grounded in reality and if we're living in that world, these kids are assholes and deserve jail time, y'know?
