Tell me this. Who DOESN'T want to see a movie that's climax is a group of runaway prison break monkey's escaping there captures by flying an army plane to freedom in the everglades?
This movie is purely 80's. It may as well be called Project 80's. Clever Lovable animals being abused by science + punk kid who has a problem with authority has a life lesson to learn = 80's movie and by gum, this is the snapshot of that era.
That said. This movie is pretty damn good. The monkey's win you over, you totally get what's at steak and when it all comes down to it you're drawn in. And it ends on that plane escape. What more can you ask for? And if you've got anything else you want. Remember there is also an addicted to nicotine smoking monkey that goes badass in it!
