What a fascinating documentary. It could only happen in the seventies,-that people believe that raising a chimp as a human would turn the chimp into a person who could communicate. Utterly horrific to watch as poor Nim is abandoned by those who experimented on him.
I kept thinking I was watching Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I wanted him to rise up, get the other chimps to follow him and kick the humans butts. Really worth seeing.
