Review of Project Almanac (2015) by Pats1212 — 25 May 2015
So this movie is about a group of five high school kids, one who is the future of the MIT physics department (trust me the kid is crazy smart), that discover lost blueprints for a time machine the main character, David's, father had designed years earlier.
**Spoiler Alert**.
In my opinion the plot was easy to follow if you pay attention, if not your in for a long ride. Movie is a found footage video so be aware of that. The love interest of the movie is a cute (possibly overdone) high school, nerd boy, popular high school girl pairing, The awkwardness of the love interest is funny and at times reminds me of what high school love life was like for almost everyone. The movie's ending was something that I did somewhat see coming, however the very last scene was a fantastic way to end the movie, especially with the fact that Jessie told David that earlier in the movie, and I'm paraphrasing, "did you ever stop to think that I liked you from the start". Im a fan, doubt there will be a 2 nor do I think there should be, but I would pay to see this movie again.
Hope I didn't spoil to much. All in all, its worth a watch and a replay.
