Review of Project Almanac (2015) by Jed L — 30 Jan 2015
Project Almanac is about a group of teenagers who discover a time machine and use it to their advantage. The main kid, David, discovers an old family tape and sees himself in the background at his 7th birthday party.
That leads to him and his friends finding a time machine. They use it to win the lottery, get VIP tickets to a concert, get more popular, and change their personal life. The acting is just okay and the parts that deal with David and his crush are not really relevant.
But the movie still entertains well and has quite a bit of humor. It's interesting to see what happens as they go into the past and rewrite parts of their future. I'll give it a 3/5.
