Review of Project Almanac (2015) by Jovanny G — 31 Jan 2015
When you get past the bad acting and most the cheesy dialogue you get an amazing look into the classic Sci-Fi adventure of Time Travel! It was talked about in Back to the Future about a catastrophic event (paradox) happening if one was to themselves in the past or future.
And this movie definitely brought that idea to life in a crazy way with butterfly effects and possibly parallel universes. It's an okay movie with such a powerful personal take on the negative effects of time travel! I just wished for as smart as they tried to make these group of friends they would have been smarter on the consequences of time travel that so many movies before them have established and explained.
They even had a scene where one of the kids was watching bill and teds excellent adventure on his laptop. Meaning many other famous time travel movies existed in this world that they could have looked to for rules and foundations and effects of time travel.
It's a good movie for teens but for people that look for more, keep looking.
