Review of Project Almanac (2015) by Ian L — 11 Feb 2015
Project Almanac is a nice little teenage film well shot and well produced. The film embarks us on the journey of a little genius who discovers in his basement plans left by his father to built a time machine.
what's interesting with this film is that it explores the possibilities of time travel but also shows clearly the repercussions such thing would have on the life of the hero and his friends but also the ripple effect it would have on the world around them.
changing one thing changes everything. The film strength resides in the fact that soon our young protagonists realize they can't change the past without severely compromising their future. It's nothing too intense but still it's a nice little movie, entertaining and well made with some good ideas and some fun moments.
Entertaining from start to finish.
