Review of Project Almanac (2015) by Tani S — 19 Feb 2015

Oh great,somebody that reviews project almanac throws another angry, pointless, nonstop, rant of negativity at it. I can't believe that there are this many people in the world that are so cynical they cannot see the amazingness that this movie holds!

Do you scoff at this? Let me expound While you pontificate; project Almanac if you pay attention and look past the poor camera work (which is the only negative factor I will agree with)what you will find is a very deep story possibly unintentional but still there you see the main character go from -certain of himself and his future -and then stumbling into something unknown giving him the chance to finally get something he's never had: confidence in himself, socially, and in his mind true love. And that is the true hinge of the movie! if you weren't paying attention the line between love and losing yourself and wanting something so bad you look past all the ways it's could possibly affect you and those you love. This is where the amazingness of that movie happens. you watch him go back over and over and almost go mad trying to figure out the equation of the "perfect date to go back to" and fix it all only to find out he is out of needed hydrogen adding the element of showing what happens to yourself when you see your past self is also truly amazing and cleverly woven into the plot when his true love sees her past self "David I'm here" "Dadadaivd I'm here"[I'm getting goosebumps)and flickers out of existince putting a needle in the heart before the final act of the movie comes to fruition and you get to see his father and realize the sad truth you cannot change the past and he looks in his eyes of his father and his father realizes the truth both sides, that he must die and that he can do nothing to stop him.sad....

Then adding the bonus of the camera being there for a possible whole nother loop ("did your dad have two cameras") around is a pretty cool way to end it so perhaps I am the only person that feels this but project Almanc in my opinion goes down in the roster of great and original time travel films and I HATE MICHAEL BAY FOR THE RECORD I FEEL HE RUINED TRANSFORMERS IN EVERY WAY.. OH ,for those that thought Primer was a good movie you are crazy that movie is terrible.....
