Review of Prizzi's Honor (1985) by Gaylene H — 15 Nov 2007
The pace of this movie was flaccid. Turner and Nicholson had no screen chemistry . Anjelica Houston's performance as Maerose is the only standout (as her Dad directed it, maybe it was a vehicle for her) and she garnered a best-supporting Oscar for it.
William Hickey was seriously miscast as the Don--he was so poor in the role that it was probably intended as comedic parody: if so, it was a total misfire.
