A father's love is tested & driven to complete madness when the police release an apprehended suspect believed to be involved with the disappearance of his daughter & her friend. The sequence of events that follow is quite disturbing & serves as a reminder of just how fragile we all are.
Any ordinary person can become headline news if provoked. The determined detective who seemed so disengaged in the beginning turns out to be instinctively heroic.
