Review of Prisoners (2013) by Paul B — 24 Oct 2014
Though Prisoners sets up a a very strong framework for what could have been a haunting, and deeply disturbing character study, and it does have a few surprising moments, there's more than a few minor flaws piling up left and right, along with too many forced situations and dialogues, and an overall sense that this film could have delved so much deeper and gone so much further, making this in interesting viewing experience, though by no means complete.
