Review of Prisoners (2013) by Rob R — 09 Feb 2016
Denis Villeneuve's Prisoners, is a haunting, sometimes disturbing, but ultra-compelling suspense thriller that is undoubtably the best film of 2013. The cinematography is stunning, the acting is top-class (especially Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal) and the twisting story is paced brilliantly with stellar direction and attention to detail.
