Review of Prisoners (2013) by Aero R — 24 Nov 2015
It may be hard to sit through but its still a riveting and electrifying film. Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal are at the top of their game in this film. The cinematography from Deakins is outstanding as usual while Villenueve's direction carries this film th greater heights than just another crime drama.
The film ends in a haunting and depressing way that may not sit well most people but it didn't bother me.
