The film feels a bit like Evil Dead mixed with Tombs of the Blind Dead, but without the quality. The characters are a bore and the story is slow and unfullfilling. Lacking demon creatures and a rather weak ending, Prison of the Dead feels like another forgettable Full Moon film.
