Just a money grabbing opportunity which they couldnt miss out on. Absolutely unnecessary extra made up story which they could have done without. And if they wanted to clear up what happened to Michael, just deliver an extra 5 minutes more reasonable stuff in the season finale.
Anyhow, a must watch for prison break lovers, but a complete waste of time like most of season 3 and 4. I was so glad that it ended as well as it did, cuz it culd have ruined the whole series with a bad clichee ending.
Even this exr doesnt ruin it for me.
