Review of Prison (1987) by Kevin C — 12 Jun 2008
Better than it has any right to be. It's like Shawshank redemption meets Poltergeist meets Friday the 13th.
Has an, for the most part, excellent cast, interesting characters, a cool story and concept and some great gore effects.
Prison is far and away one of the best lost gems of 80's horror I've ever found. There are so few really cool, well done horror films around this time period that it always blows me away when one sneaks under the radar.
IF you are a fan of horror than you need to do yourself a favor and check this bad boy out. Very creep, gory, fun, over the top stuff.
