Review of Princess of Thieves (2001) by Mary Beth P — 01 Oct 2007
I've seen this movie before, and would certainly watch it again. It is very true to the idea of Robin Hood with a very modern gender twist to it. The characters' views on gender are still true to their era, which makes for an interesting contrast, but still works nicely with the plot from both perspectives. The acting is excellent.
The only negative thing I would say are the very "disney" scenes, mostly having to do with arrows splitting arrows. Otherwise, well done.
