Review of Princess Arete (2001) by Matt G — 25 Sep 2015
Like a made-for-TV version of Studio Ghibli, ?Arete? is a unique enough story about an aging wizard holding a power-wielding princess hostage. Unfortunately, being really slow and somewhat convoluted, there?s just not enough here to make it really worth watching.
It ultimately amounts to not much more than a marginally passable morality fairy tale.
