Review of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010) by Ben H — 31 Mar 2013
The rushed action and plot are what keep you entertained, but that is exactly what prevents it from being much better than what was anticipated. It is a shame that this was not made more complete, with better writing, accents, plot development and time to catch you breath, then it would have been more memorable. The CGI also weakened things with its ridiculous extremities.
There is still much potential in making films about the Persian history, that most do not know much about. It was interesting that they used a map as a basis but never referred to it. Religion did also not play a part.
