Review of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010) by Aaron M — 01 May 2014

Prince of Persia was a pretty decent effort of a game adaptation. I have played the games, not the biggest of fans but took note of the small details having hit the big screen. As a stand alone movie, its a good watch.

Nothing special but enjoyable nonetheless. The action was typical of the games and brought something different. The stylisation and story kept things interesting however the whereabouts of the dagger became a little tiresome towards the end.

I fail to see how a better version of sands of time could have been made, despite its flaws. Jake Gyllenhaal was perfect for the princes role and did it justice.
