Review of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010) by Ace T — 01 Nov 2012
Kim and I got to watch this on June 17th, 2010 8:10pm showing over at the AMC - Metreon in San Francisco. Clocked in about a good 1 hour and 47 minutes. Ending music for the credits was lovely to listen to and enjoy but sadly we couldn't stay through it.
Going in with just the basic video game expectation I came out entertained. Being a fan of the video games in various forms, it was odd to finally give the Prince a name, but it didn't hamper it. All the acrobatics and camera work with Jake Gyllenhaal's own stunts made the film wonderful to watch. Certain parts of the movie felt dragged out to provide filler or comedy. The part with ostrich racing was hilarious!
