Review of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010) by Jack G — 05 Nov 2012

As a video game adaptation, I thought it was pretty decent. The story had been adapted very well to the big screen, but the problem for me was the characters. Jake Gyllenhaal's dastan just didn't have that char for me.

Gemma Arterton's character just wasn't anything like the character in the game, it was just boring and monotone throughout. The effects were good, but a lot was left out from the game, the action wasn't very original, and where were the sand zombies?!! As I said, as a video game to movie adapatation, it was one of the best to date, but as a film, it just didn't hit it for me.
