Review of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010) by Lee W — 06 Jan 2013
Prince of Persia starts, oddly enough, with the invasion of a middle eastern city following dodgy government intel suggesting that there are weapons (though not of mass destruction) within. Make of that what you will, but it's about as interesting as things get.
A strong cast tries hard but they're fighting a losing battle against a CGI fug and clunky, expositional script with none of the wit or charm of the PS2 classic the film is based on.
