Review of Prince of Darkness (1987) by Chris R — 04 Sep 2013
'Prince of Darkness' from Director John Carpenter is one of the more interesting films in his filmography. It has a very unsettling vibe throughout and the visual aspects of the film is top notch.
The acting may be a little on the cheesy side, the scientific jargon can drag on a little and it seems to end rather abruptly, but this film is definitely one of Carpenter's better films and even with some slowness manages to race by quickly.
I recommend it if you haven't seen all of Carpenter's work or if you're tired of your typical 80's horror film. Check it out.
