Review of Prince Avalanche (2013) by Marla G — 14 Oct 2013
Prince Avalanche (Americanized version of Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurðsson's, "Either Way" aka "Á Annan Veg") blends charm, sorrow and isolation into a cocktail of humbleness with a hit of pretension paired well with beautiful art direction, a strong soundtrack by Explosions In The Sky and great performances by both lead actions (Rudd and Hirsch).
Despite a not-so-conclusive final act, the film as a whole is one of the best of the year.
