Okay, so maybe it's because I'm a fan of big scary monster movies, or maybe it's because I was previously familiar with the stories of Gustave but either way, I really liked this movie. There were some very tense moments as well as light moments that made it flow well.
And yay for the dog surviving! They usually get eaten!
