Orlando Jones was funny, and the decision to focus as much on the real world problems as on the unbelievably intellligent and powerful croc was a interesting choice. Unfortunately, practically every character outside of Jones was annoying, and all the "based on true events" rigmarole made the bad CGI stunts of Gustave hard to swallow.
