Review of Primer (2004) by Riff R — 09 Jul 2010
An obscure, mind-bending gem of a film that presents time-travel narrative in a refreshing and fascinating new light. The plot is perplexing by design, but inspires multiple viewing and contemplation. Produced on an ultra low budget and only the better for it, one can only expect a lot from filmmaker Carruth, and indeed a star-studded blockbuster remake sooner or later.
