Review of Primer (2004) by Colson V — 10 Dec 2012
A haunting reminder to never mess with time travel. Firing on all cylinders, Primer is an excellent example of how far you can take storytelling on a shoe string budget. The only real complaint to be found here is the run time.
Primer could have been a masterpiece with maybe about 15 more minutes of screentime to further emphasize the points that Shane Carruth was trying to make. Regardless, bring a pen and a notepad with you to this one.
Depending on your intelligence level, maybe bring some alcohol as well.
