I feel like Primer is like The Emperor's New Clothes. People praise it for being so complicated, and they say that if you don't understand it, you're obviously not smart enough. Well, I'm calling the emperor out on his nudity.
While this movie has a very realistic feel, and I like how they make their initial discovery, it soon becomes very confusing and, frankly, boring. This movie tries to make up for a lackluster plot with high-brow science talk and a convoluted plot structure, and it just doesn't work.
