Review of Primer (2004) by Brandon W — 14 Mar 2016
I remember coming across the is when I was watching Looper which after that, I was looking at the facts of it and saw that some of the production people from Primer helped people that were involved in Looper.
So when I finished Primer, it turned out to be a great McLeod that made me wonder what Shane Carruth's next film Upstream Color is about. Shane Carruth is great as an actor, and the script by him is really good also, but it's extremely confusing that it's one of those films that you have to watch more than once to understand it.
The beginning was a bit rough there, but it gets better when it gets close to the middle. The way one of the characters explained that he made a time machine without acting crazy is really smart and it's explained very well also.
It's really interesting, even if it's really confusing, and it has some smart dialogue between the two leads, even though some viewers would not know what they are talking about. Primer is an entertaining indie that I'm looking forward to see Upstream Color.
