Watched on a plane, and its a tough call what is more exciting - this film or the back of the seat in front of me. didnt seem to know what it was - at times rom com, occasional stray into utterly dull drama.
thurman does what she can, streep out performs the script and director, whoever this greenberg is does almost nothinig at all. some nice ideas and the odd nice moment ... but..yaaaawwwnn. Oh the whole art angle was pretensious too.
this film would have been better if it was straight rom com full of good jokes without the laughable attempts to be something more serious.
